Ditch Dogs.

These are called Ditch Dogs, and you can buy them at Ditch Plains in NYC.

They are two hot dogs covered in mac-n-cheese and sloppy joes.  I am considering calling the zoning board and finding a way to shut the place down because I have been eating too many of them lately and I am getting side saddles on my thighs.

They are so f. good.

I’m thinking about adding them to the menu at Wolff’s Biergarten this month, and I would have to call them Ditch Dogs because it would be the right thing to do, and probably reference it somewhere on our menu that we stole the idea from Ditch Plains.

(The opposite of how some other bar on Lark Street took our idea of the birthday margarita AND the idea of the birthday boot without giving us any credit.  Not one teency weency little bit of credit.  Me, bothered??!  Noooooo.  You know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of stealing.)

Anyway, look out for some Ditch Plains inspired Ditch Dogs at the Biergarten possibly coming soon.  Or maybe not.
