lealorali, fortunately her father found her so he was able to walk right up to her. I donâ€™t know what wouldâ€™ve happened if one of us hadnâ€™t spotted her because she is so scared of everyoneâ€¦.all the sightings were helpful though, thatâ€™s how we zeroed in on her location.
She was on 378 and he was driving around looking and there she was!

I agree Edna, there should be more animal control officers.

But on a great note, we found her tonight!!!! So she is finally safe. :)

Can you post this on any sites that have experience on how to catch skittish dogs? Usually when they get hungry enough they come around,I’ve heard. It breaks my heart. On another note,maybe we can somehow petition to add more animal control officers on the city/town payrolls. There are simply not enough. Sorry,venting? Just so sad because it happens so often…. :(
