So sad. But let’s help find this dog!
I received this email this morning:
Hi Matt,
…my friend Erik lost his dog yesterday around noon. He was lost from Myrtle Ave behind Albany Medical Center. His name is Hamilton and answers to “Hamilton” or “Hammy” He is a Boston Terrier about 16lbs, 12 years old, and has a Cherry Eye in the left eye. He is not wearing a collar and he is microchipped. He is very friendly with people and other dogs. I was with Erik most of the night and the both of us and other friends are very upset. Hamilton is VERY loved. Erik has done everything he can to try and get the word out, Twitter, Facebook, Craigslist, MHRHS, Animal control…etc. Erik can be reached at 518-595-3745 if there is any information about Hamilton.
Thanks so much for your time Matt, Erik and I appreciate it very much.
Respectfully,
Nancy Andrews
If you have any information on this dog, please let Erik know ASAP.

Thank you so much for your help! I’m trying to keep up hope. Hammy is super people-oriented, and I’m hoping he followed someone home and spent the night in a warm living room…

Erik, please post this on Steve Caparizzos faceBook page. Also, there is a website called LostMyDoggie.com that calls people in the area for you and issues an Amber alert!

Is he found ? I was looking out the window @ work on the corner of New Scotland & Myrtle & saw a dogs’ butt go running by the Day Treatment Center @ the VA. By the time I got to the street, he was gone :(

You should let police dispatch know too. I’ll light a candle and say a prayer for Hammy’s safe return. Don’t lose hope.

Erik, I too have been helping w/the search for Hamilton as work at AMC. Been going out at lunch, show his picture and spread the word to all – AMC staff, VA staff, construction workers & neighbors. Praying it helps to bring home your precious & loyal friend! Keep up the search, Hamilton misses you as much as you miss him!!!!
