Thanks Matt for sharing this. Chris is a great guy and will make a great Assemblyman. Unfortunately, I cannot make the event but will be voting for Chris on Primary Day.

According to Higgins, Albany restaurants are not regulated enough and we need a publicly funded restaurant review service to protect consumers. Direct from his Facebook page: http://cl.ly/HnJh & http://cl.ly/Hlk6

If he’s elected, how many more regulations will try to pass that affect restaurant owners? Maybe he’s a nice guy, but he seems kind of dim-witted to me. Not only is this legislation harmful to small businesses, but there is no upset and it’s a total waste of time. The fact that he’s on Facebook calling this an accomplishment is ridiculous.

Quoting Higgins: “inspection report postings will result in giving consumers an informed choice for choosing their dining options.” Doesn’t Yelp & Urbanspoon already have this covered?
