Happy the multiple authors are leaving, no offense authors. I agree with the identity crisis diagnosis. I appreciate your self-deprecating humor, which is one of the reasons I started reading the blog. I found myself reading the blog a lot less since they joined and you post less.

I’m fine with having multiple authors, but it was always very easy to miss who the author was before beginning to read. Being your blog, I always assumed you were writing until halfway through the article when something didn’t sound right.

Some other blogs with multiple writers make the authors a bit more visually prominent. For example, you should show an avatar (like your comments) along with the name in big bold letters, all in its own space between the headline and article. Right now it’s kind of tucked away.

Also, I’d like to see something different with comment moderation. Maybe you could hide new, unmoderated comments, but let the reader display them if they so chose. (With the except, of course, of the “be the 25th commenter” giveaways.)
