I’m really excited to be doing my first giveaway today. The above earrings were generously donated by (and designed by) (and hand-crafted by) Siobhan Byron.

Siobhan fell into jewelry design during college, and people would see her wearing her own unique designs and ask her for custom creations. Almost all of her pieces are one-of-a-kind and designed on impulse. She says “I’ll be driving down Western Ave., thinking about my grocery list and an image of a necklace idea will pop into my head.” Talk about creative. If I’m thinking of my grocery list I’m wondering if I should get regular oreos or double stuffed. Siobhan makes things she’d wear herself, but her designs appeal to a broad spectrum of people, ages 5 to 75 – even her husband!

Siobhan does all of the designing, creating, marketing, merchandising and photographing of her jewelry, so it’s a 7 day-a-week, 18 hours-a-day job, on top of her two other jobs, with no assistant.
