Last week, I watched the Tom Ford Visionaries documentary on that lady Oprah’s network, and it was pretty fascinating.
a. Â I can’t believe how gay he is.
b.  He inspired me.  Not because of a. but because  of the following…
He said at one point in the movie that when he is feeling really depressed or isn’t in a good place (I assume he mean’s the K-Mart men’s section), he wakes up and puts on a beautiful suit. Â He said it makes him feel better about himself.
So the other day, (week actually), I had/have been feeling a little bluesy lately, and I woke up and thought, like I do every morning, “WWTFD”.
So I put on a perfectly pressed white dress shirt, a charcoal jacket from Uniqlo that fits me like a glove, my Theory black dress pants, a pair of grey, suede boots I bought at All Saints in SOHO, and my charcoal cap. Â I felt great. Â I had a few meetings that day, and I did feel slightly overdressed, but I felt so much better about things.
So that being said, if you see me walking around town in a tie or a tuxedo, I’d avoid looking me in the eyes.
