This is a great photo. The contrast is a little blown out which normally would not look good in a color photo, but in black and white it really makes the shop look great. The picture looks like it’s from another era and frankly, a little spooky. Very well done.

Thanks, Sizzle and Erik. I often shoot black and white with an orange or red filter because I like the contrast. I tend to push my b&w film a little. I don’t usually like such high contrast on color, but if I want the blown out contrast in color film I cross process slide film.
