One of my favorite events of the year is Champagne on the Park in Washington Park, Albany.  (details HERE).

I think I said it last year, but I’ll say it again, whoever (whomever?) is doing the graphics for the Lark Street BID is doing an amazing job.   The graphic for Champagne on the Park this year makes me want to quickly sip 2 bottles of champagne in the park, go star gazing, and then go skinny dipping in the Washington Park Lake.   (Although, pretty much any ol’ graphic makes me want to do that, quite honestly.)

This event is incredible.  It’s dress up, and fun, and it’s outside , and if you come to it, you get to see me in a fashion show!   Fashion designer Patrick DiLascia is holding a Dilasica’s Bakery fashion show that night, and it should be fantastic.

Champagne on the Park is a fundraiser that supports the year-round efforts of the Lark Street Business Improvement District to continue promoting the economic and urban development and sustainability of this unique neighborhood through programs including neighborhood safety and marketing, street maintenance and beautification, as well as special events and promotions. The Lark Street Neighborhoods’ emergence as the center of Art and Culture in the Capital District is just one reason it is beloved by those who visit or reside here and why Lark Street is fondly called “The Heart of Albany.” The success of Champagne on the Park depends on the generous support of our friends, neighbors, and other supporters.
